Behind the Music

When people listen and watch their favorite artist, a lot of them forget who got them there. In class we were able to see what goes on behind the scenes in the music industry. When it comes to being a manager you cannot believe everything you hear. People could have false information all the time, but its your job to find out the truth. When it comes to getting a song out or heard you must be determined to get it done. In order to get a song played you have to fight to get the job done by any means necessary. Doing this type of business may cause you to loose some friends because of differences, jealousy, and other reasons, but if they were for you it wouldn't happen in the first place.

We saw how much work a manager must deal with just to get their artist noticed. You must have thick skin to deal with the pressure in this job. Michael "Blue" Williams was determined to get what he needed done, this is why he ended up being successful in the end. His journey showed me hard work pays off.
